This is Essie Splash of Grenadine with OPIs Funky Dunkey. It's the swirly pattern from plate M73 and then I just free-handed the tips. I'd started to use M19 but it wasn't quite thick enough so I just free-handed. Thank goodness I've already done my Surgery rotation- made my hands steadier. And I wasn't allowed to wear nail polish while I was on that rotation! This one was so pretty! Looked perfect out on the beach!
I did this one to replace the previous mani because on one finger all the polish just popped right off! Weird, but it gave me a chance to do this. This is OPI's Rumple's Wiggin' with Funky Dunkey used to Konad. And it's plate M64- the little bow with ribbons! Super cute :) So Rumple's Wiggin' worked a million times better with this application and it was only with 2 coats. I used Sephora OPI's base coat and Seche Vite as a top coat and then drying drops. Love it. Can't wait to wear it to work tomorrow. Hopefully my Chanel will come tomorrow so I can change it up a little bit!5.16.2010
Some Konading!
I didn't even know Konad existed until about 2 months ago. Now I love it! I first saw it on Siobhan's NailPhile blog and was so impressed I had to try it. Started off with the M3 plate and progressed from there. I've got a few plates now and I'm working on it. I'm still getting the hang of it so it takes forever for me. But it's so worth it. Everytime I do it I get so many compliments. People can't believe I did it myself and it works as a great conversation starter with some of my patients. It's always nice to have an in with people.
